Our founders spent their careers in real estate asset management, overseeing portfolios where budgets were managed to the line item and vendors were held accountable to scope and schedule. Discipline, transparency, and operational rigor were not aspirations but expectations.
When they turned to the water, they found an industry that operated by an entirely different set of rules. Fragmented vendors, absent controls, opaque financials, challenged accountability, and reactive maintenance. The gap was too wide to ignore.
