Contract to Confidence.
Vessel-specific training and familiarization, developed based on your needs and your insurer's requirements, and delivered aboard your yacht.
Most insurance policies include a training and familiarization clause that owners may only discover after closing. The policy requires a specified number of supervised hours, sometimes with a specific certification standard, before you are allowed to operate the vessel independently.
We build a vessel-specific program during the acquisition process. A captain who knows your yacht delivers hands-on instruction aboard it, covering operations, systems, seamanship, safety, and emergency procedures. Family and frequent guests receive separate orientation on safety and tender operations. All documentation is then compiled and submitted to your underwriter by our team.
